Drift Zone Slides Its Way onto Xbox One

written by A.K Rahming January 28, 2018

The Xbox One has quite a few racing games in its library, but this new title from developer Awesome Industries puts a literal spin on things. This is because it’s all about drifting, hence the name Drift Zone. Your goal in this game is to try your best to keep drifting around various tracks in order to win cash prizes that allow you to buy upgrades for your cars and also get new vehicles.

Drift Zone is now available in the Xbox Store for $12.99. It must be noted that the game’s physics system is very much designed for drifting, so actual driving is not incredibly easy. Here’s a description of Drift Zone:

Welcome to the world of drifting! The smell of burned rubber, the roar of 500 bhp engines and the style you have never seen before. Take part in two types of competition and win high cash prizes and reputation points needed to climb up the career ladder. Buy new cars, upgrade them and drive the wheels off them in diverse tracks. And when you already get it all, take part in a series of additional tasks.

Also, check out a gameplay trailer so you can see what the game looks like in action before choosing whether to buy or not:
