One of the biggest surprise announcements for Xbox during Gamescom last year was that Jurassic World Evolution is coming to Xbox One. The game, that comes across as a particularly dangerous version of Zoo Tycoon, looks like it could be a winner for fans of the franchise. Well, those fans will be glad to hear that Colin Trevorrow, director of Jurassic World, has seen the game and likes what he has seen. The director took to Twitter to share his thoughts on the game –
The Evolution game is killer. So many species. You guys are gonna lose your shit.

This kind of endorsement can only help the game which we expect to come out around the same time as the next film in the series, Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. If you’ve yet to see anything about the game, here’s the official description as well as the trailer for the game –
Jurassic World Evolution evolves players’ relationship with the Jurassic World film franchise, placing them in control of operations on the legendary island of Isla Nublar and the surrounding islands of the Muertes Archipelago. Players will build their own Jurassic World as they bioengineer new dinosaur breeds and construct attractions, containment and research facilities.
