As the name suggests, this new update will overhaul Minecraft’s visuals with new shaders, lighting effects, and improved textures. It was announced back at E3 in June and was set to be released by the end of this year, but it has now been pushed back to 2018. But, Mojang came up with something to tide fans over: a music video.
Yes, that’s right. They made a live-action music video with Melissa Benoist. It’s actually sorta kinda catchy, and the production value is definitely up there (you can thank those Microsoft dollars). See for yourself:
